NSW Local Land Services – 2021

Roger Carl Ilitch and his team have been providing advice to the NSW Local Land Services on the development of compliance procedures around the regulation of activities on Travelling Stock Reserves.  The advice also requires the development of processes to develop a risk and outcomes based approach to regulation.

Submission on the Lord Howe Island Draft Biosecurity Strategy – February 2016

Envlaw has provided a submission on the draft Lord Howe Island Biosecurity Strategy 2016 to the Lord Howe Island Board. Envlaw acted in a pro bono capacity alongside the Australian Centre for Environmental Compliance in developing the submission.

ANU College of Law: Guest Speaker at Environmental Law Clinic – 23 August 2015

On 23 August 2015, Roger Carl Ilitch of EnvLaw was a guest speaker at an Environmental Law clinic offered to students of the ANU College of Law in conjunction with the ACT EDO. The clinic is an addition to a suite of clinical courses offered by the ANU College of Law. The courses are designed to expose students to the law in action and to assist students to reflect about this experience.

Roger contributed his knowledge on ‘Compliance Actions and Administrative Remedies’ to 8 selected students in a roundtable seminar.

The students’ feedback was very positive. The convener stated that “the students LOVED it, it was their favourite session yet. They appreciated the interaction that the session gave, the ability to discuss, to ask questions and to have questions asked of them”.

EnvLaw contributed to the clinic on a pro bono basis.
